SwiMMinD Games

The beta version of SwiMMinD Games system qualifies and awards swimmers interested to compete globally without leaving their local pools, remotely.

Anyone could compete, no matter the age, gender or nationality. There are age groups starting from 7&Under to 120 years of age (click to see groups). The guiding registration principle is based on nationality, not on location. Basically, each country shall have a bespoke division which becomes the norm. Hence, if a user is a permanent resident of York, United Kingdom he could still make a video race while visiting friends or relatives in Bloomington, Indiana, US.

Every year, hundreds of thousands, even millions of swimmers could come together to compete in the worldwide, global online/remote competition, the SwiMMinD GAMES. We plan, the best swimmers from all age groups to be invited to a three day live competition where will be decided who is the fastest swimmer in the universe for each event. The execution of the live event will depend on this beta version.

Lets make SwiMMinD GAMES truly a race of the universe by entering into the race by registering. Since it is beta, it is FREE to use.

If you are already registered, Login into your profile, click UPLOAD Races and upload your HD video Event (recorded from any device).

STAGES

Stage 1 – Nationals (until 30.06.2019)

Each country represents a virtual, remote racing arena. The Nationals Stage has the biggest duration because we want to give many opportunities to any level swimmers. Thus, a swimmer from developing countries will have a great motivation to be one of the best in its own country.

At the end of the Nationals period, 30 June 2019, the best 100 swimmers per event shall advance to the next stage of competition, the Regionals. For instance, on 50 m. Freestyle, the first 100 people will qualify for the Regionals.

The rankings for different age groups and gender a placed placed separately.

If you are already registered, Login into your profile, click “UPLOAD Races” and upload your HD video Event (recorded from any device). Manipulated videos are prohibited. Video Events must start minimum 3 sec. before the start and finish at least 3 seconds after the finish.

Stage 2 – Regionals (01.07.2019 – 30.11.2019)

The Race continues but this time on the Regional level. The Competing regions are as follows:

National identity stays throughout the competition. Hence, if during the Nationals a German wins the 50 m. Freestyle, during the Regionals (combining Europe and Australia) he will still compete as German.

At the end of the Regionals period, 30 November 2019, the best 10 swimmers per event shall advance to the next stage of competition, the Global Race. For instance, on 50 m. Freestyle, the first 10 people will qualify for the Global Race.
